Olga-Elpis Kolokitha, DDS, MSD, PhD
Prof. Olga-Elpis Kolokitha is a Professor and the Head of the Department of Orthodontics, of School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in Greece.
She received her dental degree (DDS) and completed her PhD from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She obtained her orthodontic training and completed her Master΄s Thesis at Temple University of Philadelphia, USA, from where she received her Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and her Master of Dental Sciences (MSD).
She completed the Tweed Course from the Tweed Foundation for Orthodontic Research in Tuscon, Arizona, USA.
She is the Director of the Postgraduate Program in Orthodontics of the Department of Orthodontics, of School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in Greece. She is also the Head of the Division of Orthodontics, Peadiatric Dentistry, Preventive Dentistry and Periodontology of the same School.
Prof. Olga-Elpis Kolokitha is author or co-author of many publications. She also, has given lectures and presented papers nationally and internationally on different topics in orthodontics.
She is a member of the editorial board and a scientific reviewer for many International Scientific Journals. She is also an active member of several Greek and International Federations and Societies.
She served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Greek Orthodontic Society and the Orthodontic Society of Northern Greece.
Since 1995 she maintains a private practice limited in Orthodontics in Thessaloniki, Greece.
